“Megatex” Inc. finished a successful project mounting a sports system in Arena Samokov Sports Hall for basketball and volleyball competitions. The sports system consists of a central information field, a playtime and result LED display, two playtime and time to attack LED displays (positioned above each of the baskets) and an electronic display showing which team attacks.

The central information field gives the possibility for to show individually the team names, the score and the number of falls of each player, the time remaining from the quarter-time, the team flags and the number of the time outs. The system is unique in its type because of the characteristics of the attack LED displays that are curved and have а more than 270° viewing angle.

The sports information system is suitable for the performance of basketball and volleyball competitions in correspondence to the official rules of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and FIVB. The information system has a flexible adaptive structure and its functional possibilities can satisfy the complex requirements of basketball and volleyball competitions.

The Arena Samokov Hall has a capacity of 2500 seats with additional facilities they can be up to 3000 during basketball competitions. The sports hall offers conditions for more than 20 different sports. The men’s and women’s representative teams of the town host the sports hall.
